Are you a Black Belt Chef?

By completing quizzes, you can earn badges, and certain quizzes award certificates. A certificate demonstrates that the candidate has studied and is familiar with the concepts within the body of knowledge for that subject, required for a chef of the level indicated. Levels are expressed in “Belts” as in martial arts. To earn a belt certificate, candidates must first pass quizzes and earn badges and certificates required for that level, in three major categories: Safety, Professional Cooking, and Business Concepts.

Beginning with White Belt, a Chef can improve their certification standing by completing exams for the next level.  Once earned, continuing education of 12 credit hours per year is required along with renewal to maintain active member status.
